This notice is to set out Evans House Business Centre’s policy on the above.
As of Monday, 23 March 2020, the government announced:
- All business premises including the following must close:
- Restaurants and Cafes (excluding takeaway services);
- Pubs and bars (excluding takeaway services);
- Hair, beauty, nail, and massage parlours;
- All shops except for “essential retail” (those selling food, health items, pharmaceuticals, fuel, bike repair goods, home and hardware goods, launderette and dry cleaning services, garages, car rentals, pet shops, corner shops, newsagents, post offices and banks);
- Hotels, BnB’s, campsites, boarding houses, caravan parks, libraries, community centres and similar, places for worship, cinemas theatres and halls;
- Museums and galleries;
- Bingo halls, casinos and betting shops;
- Fitness studios, gyms, pools and other indoor leisure;
- Arcades, bowling alleys, soft play centres and similar; and
- Other premises which are not relevant to the businesses within Evans House.
- You must:
- Stay at home and only go outside for food, health reasons or essential work;
- Stay at least 2m (6 feet) away from other people; and
- Wash your hands thoroughly when you get to work and home.
On the basis of the above, it is now Evans House Business Centre’s Policy that:
- The building will be closed to members of the public;
- Cleaning staff will not carry out a daily clean of the communal areas;
- Individual tenants (not exceeding two people) may enter their unit for essential work during this period, however:
- tenants must observe the government advice at all times (e.g. keeping 2m apart, washing hands regularly, do not touch any commonly touched items (e.g. door handles) where possible;
- any tenants with a new continuous cough and/or temperature must not enter the building;
- any tenants who have who live with persons that have a new continuous cough and/or temperature must not enter the building; and
- tenants must clean and disinfect regularly touched objects and surfaces using your regular cleaning products to reduce the risk of passing the infection on to other people; and
- The above will remain in force as a management regulation until further notice.
